Anna-Marie is a coloured pencil artist based in Caerphilly, South Wales, working from her home studio where she creates detailed and expressive artwork inspired by animals and the world around her.

Her work is created with patience and care using high-quality materials, resulting in rich textures and vibrant tones that showcase the unique qualities of coloured pencil as a fine art medium.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Fine Art from Cardiff Metropolitan University and considers herself a lifelong student of art, continually developing her technical skills and exploring new expressive possibilities within her practice.

 

Anna-Marie combines strong observational drawing with a sensitive, intuitive approach, aiming to capture not only the likeness of her subjects but also a sense of character, atmosphere, and personal connection.

In 2025, she exhibited her work at the Derwent Pencil Museum in Keswick, UK, a milestone that reflects her dedication to the medium.

 

Her work has also been featured in two published articles in Artist & Illustrator magazine. Alongside her personal practice, Anna-Marie undertakes bespoke commissioned work, creating meaningful pieces that reflect both her technical precision and her own artistic spirit.
